# About me
Sindeon is a magical kingdom in Hungary, Köveskál. It exists for the first two weeks of August every year, transforming the Káli-basin into the Lower-Empire, with the city of Sindeon in the middle of it. It is a two week summer camp for kids, where they can become whatever they want to: kings, wizards, knights.On one hand, it is a lot like a LARP event: we dress up, have weapons and monsters. However, everything is made by the organizers (with the kid's help of course), so our own gear hardly fits in a van. The armor, clothes, and weapons you see here are different than at a usual LARP: we do not make them for ourselves, but for every kid who visits us. Nessa is the main sewing girl, and she tries to make dresses so that they can fit a small kid as well as someone taller. Silver is the 'metalsmith': he makes the wood weapons and the aluminium armor.
The weapons are used very differently than in a LARP: they have rings attached to it. The rings define how strong a weapon is, and it is part of the fight system. The fight system is based on putting rings on your finger behind your back, and trying to find out where your opponent pulled it. Having more rings - more likely you succeed.
