That is IT. PLEASE stop insulting, demeaning, and throughly burning every one of the things we have to say to a crisp. I don't care what you say in response to this post, and if I recieve one, I am going to ignore it. But I can't help but defend my friends, and I certainly cannot let you say such things to them without lifting a finger. I know that your way of speaking is correct and sharp enough, but it is also rude and sarcastic. And these things, in any context, are not appreciated, especially over the Internet. Just because you're sitting in front of a computer monitor and not talking to us face-to-face does not mean that you shouldn't practice the courtesies that you would show to your parents and friends offline. (unless you mean to say that you speak like this to your mother..) I don't want to be sharp with you, and I rarely let my temper rise with anyone, but you have gone too far. What was a simple preference in art style has turned into a war of us just trying to protect each other from your remarks.
Also, please, for the sake of us deviants as well as other Internet users, do not abuse the web as a place to treat people badly. Just like in real life, there can be consequences to your actions, and I assure you, if I see you continuing to attack my friends and others through insults and this written abuse, I will be discussing this with a deviantART admin. Hopefully, however, it will not come to that.
In the meantime, please watch what you type.

Because frankly I don't care. It's just how I am. I can be Mr. Nice Guy, when I want to. But this is how I am right now and I don't feel intimidated, threatened, angry or anything else because I know and realize that this is only an Internet community.

Maybe if you didn't want to put up with this, you would've let my comment be instead trying to fight. I wasn't trying to be snide with those comments, but your friend had to go crazy on me over the word "big ass" and some of her other friends started to attack me. This is basically all a triangle.

I really doubt an admin would have the time to deal with such minor discussions such as this. I will stop once you guys leave me alone. But frankly, it's just the Internet. I really fail to understand why you care about what I do. You don't know me. You don't know who I really am. My actions on the Internet may determine my behavior in real life, but what if I'm rather different in real life. Why bother anyway?

You can hate anime all you want, but you don't have to spam her page and her art. And if you even think of spamming it again, you will pay. Miserably.

I agree with the fact anime is overused and cliche many of the times, but you really don't have to bash people in your comments to people who draw or like anime... anime is big, and you won't be able to stop the people who like them to NOT like them. I do respect your opinion on anime, but like most people ask "why comment on someones' art if you don't like it?" or "why comment on someone if you don't like them?".
I mean if you write the fact you hate anime in your own blog or journal or w/e then that's different, since that's YOUR OWN spot or site and if people go to your site to bash at you, then ypu practically have all the rights to bash back at them...

It's a question everyone wonders about and wants to ask: Why DO you hate anime, and what made you hate it anyway?

I bear many reasons to my excessive lack of taste for anime, such as how popular it is. I show little taste for the trite cartoon style, as to me, it is used way too much. I found many of the shows I watched to be cliched and full of cheap and repetitive facial expressions and gags. And I hated the typical character designs such as a darkish-like man with small eyes and a cute and giddy schoolgirl wearing skirts all of the time. These are just a few reasons.

*blink* Why are you so anti-anime? Anime has such a variety of styles. Video game art is also strongly related to it, and you have video games as one of your interests. And yet you can't seem to stand even looking at anime.

Compared to others, anime is the most dull and hackneyed type of cartoon I've ever seen. And I don't get video games just because of their similar designs, I get them for their entertainment values.

Also, anime comes in such a gigantic range of styles, from the shoujo style with large eyes and immaculate detail, to a more realistic, propotioned style seen in a lot of shonen anime and manga. Manhwa (Korean manga) has also developed their own unique styles and varieties. There are also many that are strikingly similar to Disney and other American cartoons. You say that you hate the anime style, but you can't possibly hate ALL anime... And anime has entertainment value as well.
