While I'd love to do something like that, my level as an artist can be described as "MS Paint." I wouldn't want to ask for a trade as I don't feel like I would be able to provide anything remotely close to equal the value of what you can draw.

Yeah, I'm not that great at leaving comments, so how could you know? Anyway, I am a fan of both stories and seeing them interconnect was really exciting. But poor Resol and Solus, loosing so many of their squadmates

Haha, no worries about leaving comments.  It is fun to connect with other Star Wars fans when they do make their presence known, though.

Weaving FSP together with some elements from Containment and DC and Ultra's stories is one of the most satisfying things about writing these fan fics.  I mean, all of the EU connections are great too, but working with other active writers to build on a world is just the best.  It makes me feel like my old Legends Star Wars lives on.

And yeah, the odds really work against poor Resol and Solus.  Almost all of the commando squads experience some major loss by the end of the war, but some definitely had it worse than others.  Like Atin from the RC books, who was last man standing twice.

Yeah, it really is! 

It really is awesome to see you guys working together and creating this world. Though you guys definitely have an advantage over the construction of the Legends Universe given you're doing it all together at once rather than one bit at a time. No need for extreme retcons!

Oof, Atin. Poor guy, I would not have been surprised if he'd started to imagine he was a bad luck charm after he lost his second squad. Honestly one of my favourite things in Hard Contact was when he hugged Dar after everyone got reunited. It was a small gesture, but is displayed so much to the reader. 

Though, on that note, imagine being a commando who's squad survived Geonosis, but all but you die either during the first mission after Geonosis or during the last mission of the war/Order 66. That would be really rough.
