# About me

Hello to DeviantART again. I've been mostly writing for the eight months absence, but now that my course is almost over I want to revive my old account. I'm sorry for not staying in touch or answering back comments in that time; I kind of went cold turkey on DeviantART when my computer broke. I still have a bit to go before I can go through old messages and such, and I think it's best not to answer back to comments less than two months old, because people will have forgotten by then and will wonder what the heck this person is talking about. X)
Well, I'm happy to be back. I wonder what everyone has been up to in this time? We'll soon find out! :)

Thank you. You can find the original here . My next-door neighbours actually owns an aviary of budgies (with quails on the ground level), and that's where I got my Oscar.

Haha, yes, it's really something else getting to hold your own budgie chick when they're so tiny and developing their first feathers. The quail chicks are less than two centimeters high, and they follow mommy or daddy in a line. The adults can make a sound similar to an eagle (which spooked the rest of the aviary for a while).
