# About me
Hello, I'm Sebastian!I've always been interested in art, and the car interest runs in the family, so when I got my first SLR camera it felt natural to combine these two.
I moved from Finland to Sweden the summer 2012, and currently I'm studying Industrial Design over at MIUN (Mid Sweden University), Sundsvall. At the moment my dream is becoming an automotive designer (something I've always dreamth of), but who knows, the future is still in front of me!

Current Residence: Sundsvall, Sweden

Nice to meet you Harley!
I bet that Hemi Roadrunner must have been a real stunner, a real teenage dream! I'm a big fan of the classic Mopars as well, and still hoping to be able to build my own garage someday down the road.
Thank you for the faves, they're much appreciated!Β
Have a good one, and see you around!Β

Hey Shark!
Would if I could, but they have some odd rules in that group that won't let me vote on any submissions...
Hope you won't have to wait for the acception for too long!

Thanks for watching. I'll come back and take a longer look at your gallery as time permits. I noticed you use a Canon Rebel, what lens(es) do you use?

No probs!
I use the standard 18-55 is that comes with the Rebel/550D kit, the Canon EF 50mm f/1,8 II, and a Tamron AF SP 70-300mm f/4-5,6 Di VC USD!

I really got my money's worth out of that 18-55, I've used it on three bodies, and I also have the same fixed 50 (it weighs nothing!) which I always carry with me. For my first zoom I bought the Canon EF 75-300, which always seems to get horrid reviews, but I took some pretty amazing shots with it over the years. I now have a Canon L series 100-400mm, and it's an awesome lens, but when you factor in the weight, the 75-300 is a lot easier to shoot from the hip with. Sometimes that makes all the difference in motorsports.

I love the 50mm, it might feel a bit cheap when you hold it in your hand, but it's what's inside
that really matters.
The L series 100-400mm is a lens in it's own class! If I had the money I would go get one as fast as I could, but since I started studying Industrial Design at a university in Sundsvall (Sweden) this year I'm kind of low on extra cash.

I completely agree with you on the 50mm, it is IMHO the best value for a lens on the market today, they are often on sale for $129, you can't beat that!
As to the 100-400, it was a long decision, it took almost buying one on eBay for $1100 (I lost by $50) for me to seriously consider buying a new one, and when Canon had their sale last winter it was at a never before seen low, so I took the wife out to a nice restaurant and promised not to replace the 40D until 2014...
L-series lenses are a great investment if you make money from your photography, but for the hobbyist like myself it comes down to a new lens or a new set of tires for the 911? I'm glad I bought it, but sometimes I can't help but feel guilty about it

I completely agree, and the best part is that I got my 50mm for free! The site where I bought my 550D had a campaign that gave away one 50mm lens for the 20 fastest persons to buy a 550D. I just wanted the camera and didn't have the slightest hope of getting the lens, and yet when I was about to check out I suddenly had a 50mm lens for 0β¬ in my shopping list! Afterwards I've thought that it must be one of the best gifts I've ever recieved! Hahaha!
I felt the same thing about the 100-400... I am working with photography for a drifting team during the summers, but they're not paying me in money. Instead I get free trips to the competitions, cheaper parts for my own car, etc. but I really felt that if I was to buy such an expensive lens I would have to make real money and not "favours".

I've had my pictures on the cover of Der Auspuff ( [link] ) a couple of times, and used on various websites, but all of the compensation I've received (I've been paid in used Porsche parts once or twice!) doesn't really cover the cost of the gear, so it really comes down to enjoying doing it. My suggestion is, if you need the 400mm, rent one and try it out first. If I had done that I'm not certain I would have bought it outright, perhaps I would have saved the funds to get that 5D Mark III instead. I am still glad to have it, it is an awesome lens, but it is big and heavy enough that I had to buy a new LowePro 450AW pack that cost more than my EF 75-300mm lens to be able to carry it!

Haha, yeah I think renting it for a day or two would be a good idea! Since it's a lot of money we're talking about here!
