Sorry, been incredibly busy recently. But, on the plus side, I've got me a new job now that's full-time with good pay and benefits! Now I don't have to worry about any more college or job searching when I get home every day. If only I could stop volunteering so much for other stuff now, I might actually have free time again.

Am I sure? Well, no, probably not.
However, I'm starting to get the impression that if I don't have a lot of pressure motivating me to continue writing fanfics, I'm more than likely to never get around to it again. I've been trying the self-motivation thing for too long with no results. Granted, I am extremely busy these days with college, work, a house to finish, and another to keep clean, but that doesn't mean that I don't have plenty of free time on some days. So far, I tend to spend that free time on anything but writing, so maybe some constant nagging reminders might force me to make writing a priority whenever I get the time.

well .... ask Cosmo to help ... its one thing to get it from a bunch of people who hardly understand you're situation and may or may not forget. But if your wife doesnt mind you putting yourself out a little to write, then talk. Who knows ... she could even help you some. ^-^

Oh, she does. My wife is probably the only reason that I still remember that I have fanfics I should be writing anymore. She really wants to see them finished and tries to remind me on occasion. The problem is that she is busy and forgets, too. Right now I'm too busy for any writing, though, so perhaps nagging would just get ignored no matter who it came from.

exactly my point .... now .. when you have a definite clear-spell for recreation ... then i and whomever else will consider the nagging ... until then .. take it in stride. When u get a strong enough urge to write, go with it ... run actually. Its leading to something ... but the key ... is are you going to be like Tails ... and follow it?

Well, I ran into a bit of trouble when I tried to do that a while back. Turns out that DA puts a limit on the length of any text you try and post here, and my chapters for Lethal Mutation tend to be quite a bit on the lengthy side. I would have to probably break a lot of them up into several pieces to post the whole story here, and I'm just not certain if I want to go through all that work.

I read most of what you have on FanFiction.net. I really liked it too. Ever since I first heard of a kitsune, I always assumed Tails was a baby kitsune, but I liked your interpration as well. I like how you were creative and didn't stick with the "offical" names of his parents and made up your own.

Well, once the idea of naming Tails' father after the same kind of pun as 'Miles Prower' came to my head, I just couldn't resist. I've always seen Tails more of a mutant than a kitsune, simply because I'm not so much into the mystical beings kind of explanation in stories. Besides, the little bit of research that I once did on kitsunes led me to conclude that Tails really didn't fit the description anyway.

Maybe it's just because I've always liked "Ugly Duckling" type stories. I espically loved chapter eleven. I don't know, I think it was the details you put in describing all the medical equiment Tails was hooked up too. Maybe it's because I plan to be a vet in the future. Come to think of it, are the "doctors" in that chapter really vets or are Mobians THAT humanoid, human medicine works with them as well. Could one give antihistamine to Blaze or Big? I've always heard that can kill cats.
