Thank you, It's a great feeling to have a good impression without even talking lmao. 
I use the most amazing and everyone's loved Photoshop cs6 as most digital artists I know of. But it's not worth investing in such program if you don't view art as your future main source of income or just some side money. ((Also pretty possible to find a download link for the pirated version)).

To be honest, I'd recommend on using Krita Desktop 3.0 so far. It's something as if Paint Tool Sai had Photoshop Brushes and looked like Photoshop's cousin (primary for Linux users so far since crashes the least for them and also was created at first for them but now there are Win and iOS versions). I personally like to doodle there with inks since I think it's one of the best programs for that also nice brushes for paintery-blurry-Paint Tool Sai look. Though it all depends on what look you're looking for. If realism with a lot of texture, semi-realism,concept art,cartoon - photoshop and only photoshop everything else can go home. If you're okay with semi-realism, cartoon, anime look - other programs are okay.
