Well, I can get you a hint?
I paint my drawings with crayons always the gradient (From dark to light) and shadows also (always from dark to light). I learned to do with black pencil 6B, after a long time training with black pencil 6B, i spent for the colored pencil, but not hard, just practice a lot! <3Β
