Thank you! I still haven't got around to playing Frozen Wilds yet. I'm sort of nerving myself up for it, plus also kinda saving it for a rainy day when I will really, really appreciate just sitting down and playing it all day. Buying a house at the moment, so maybe when that is over I will feel like I deserve that!

Although I may not be on here quite so often... I tend to post a few things intermittently (just my doodles and rock paintings) and otherwise I'm only on to interact with artists who produce fanart for Mass Effect, like yourself, who I want to interact with for sake of the Facebook page I admin!

In any case, whatever form our allegiance takes, I've genuinely loved the art I've seen that you've come up with. Maybe I can add more of your stuff to our FB page in future... LoL... may have to make an album dedicated just to you! LoL! I did that for someone once, because I had so much of her stuff! XD

Much appreciated And you’re right each one of those pieces [referencing your other comment of one of our other combos] took hours to accomplish. Then there’s the mega job of doing my ‘comic-strips’... each one of those took days to get done if not weeks. I’m glad someone appreciates the time and effort put into those

Well... I’m more than happy for you and me to “interact” away! LoL! There are indeed a wealth of Mass Effect fanart here on DA (I’m sure you already know that) but I can hook you up with - mainly Mass Effect clubs, which in turn will lead you to a myriad of great ME artists. Like for example...

I tend to use DA's search and then hit 'most recent' or whatever the selection criteria or ordering criteria is that it offers, equivalent to that. I know it normally defaults to 'most popular', but I figure if I set it to time based, all I need do is keep scrolling down, and then I can't miss anyone that hasn't tagged or named their art according to what I've searched. I catch more stuff perhaps than browsing a club's archive or list of artist's works, but at the same time, I know that what I love with my own eyes may not be the same as whoever chose things for a club or group.

Sometimes I'll share artwork that perhaps wouldn't make someone else's list of favourites. That's because I recognise that sometimes it's a 'concept' that is the star feature of a piece of work. There are some exceptionally technically beautiful pieces I've seen... but sometimes it'll be one that was done on a napkin with a disproportioned body drawn that grabs me because maybe that's the one that nailed a facial expression so profound and telling, albeit by complete accident perhaps on the part of the artist, that I can't ignore it. Or maybe they had such a hilarious idea, it doesn't matter they drew stickmen. Or the ones other people might criticise because they haven't perfected the feminine face (yet) so their Sheps look a bit... well... blokey... The fascinating thing is that such variety is representative of real life and something is lost when artists stop making 'mistakes' like that. There are sometimes artists who recognise that, and they can spend *years* then trying to unlearn what they've learned to do, so that rather than conforming to a standard of averages, their work *stands out*.

...And I'm babbling again! lol

Nevertheless if you've an artist in mind whose work you'd like to introduce me to, I'd be honoured of course! Especially if you think they might be up for joining our collection on FB!

Sorry I have just worked out where this comment 'went' - lol. I was in my notifications (where I normally go) and mightily confused as to how I was supposed to click to reply to this! LoL! I'm not very tech-worthy.

Thank you for your compliment by the way - I'm working hard to try to get better at this weird style I've adopted. I'm more used to working in biro! :S But this is worth it. I'm no good at the sorts of things you do, although I was lucky in that my dad taught me how to draw in perspective. Still... those 'doodles' are more my ability. I'd love to be able to paint people and characters and scenery well... But I'm not sure I'll ever get the hang of it!

Funny how the brain works eh? We all have different strengths and weaknesses.

I hear ya.  For ages all I could draw was animals.  I had to train myself to draw people.  Took a couple years to get as good at it as I am (which is far from perfect, but at least it matches my style)

To "watch" someone, you need to visit the person's profile and check out at the right corner "+Watch"
The same goes for groups, etc. Check out what I did with Lucy on my profile, in case you haven't seen.
I'm still learning how to render stuff with XPS.
