Thank you for sharing.  Since you asked found that NPR works best in fine layers over the original. 

Took the original photo and used the following in PhotoShop

• Filter Gallery - Palate Knife  (main effect layer)
  
• Oil Paint (using a 20% opacity layer)
• Deep dream with chunky impasto style reference image (for mild color enhancement, often unreliable for larger images.)
• Filter Gallery - Texturizer - Canvas  (made a copy of all layers, used the filter, then set opacity at 30%)

I had a close look at this and it does achieve quite a lot in the way of making this look like a fine art painting. Some of my efforts are positively crude by comparison.

Thanks so much.   Zbrush is a type of 3d software made by Pixologic.  It's been around since 1999 and used extensively in a lot of industries.  pixologic.com/features/
