Thank you for posting your work! It's inspiring! I have a question (which you do not have to answer ): do you start to paint with anything in mind, and/or, how do you guide the process? I feel like when working on my own abstract paintings, it's hard to begin with a blank canvas.. but overthinking it is also a problem!
best wishes

Hi there and thank you for your kind comment.
I usually start with choosing colours and fluids and paints that I want to use. Most colours give some mood but when i start pouring and manipulating the images form and deform and are hard to really pin at the right moment. So most is not what I had intended at first but with some help it could form into something even more promising or interesting and so I work along with that. I often pour over 10 to 15 times in small quantities to get desired effect or camouflage other less parts of the work . At the moment I am mostly improving older paintings that did not work out well. As I do not work with resin it is all very easy to add some detail to dry paintings or coat them with stains and transparentsΒ to get more depth. I am looking for new ways in my abstract/entropic work as I am pretty done with just pouring as all the world is doing it and all are achieving the same ( often stunning) results. But just like you write over thinking is a problem so I experiment and try to amaze myself but after more than 25 years it becomes harder to do but a bigger reward every time it does come trough.Β big grtzzz and peace

Thanks, I very much appreciate your detailed reply!
Although I have seen a lot of pouring art, I think your work definitely stands out from the rest Improving older work seems very brave! Sometimes I can't even bring myself to varnish my paintings for fear of altering them. Good luck with your experiments!
best wishes

Hello W-Out, please can I use this images as a background in motion graphics or for commercial use? Is it really really free to use?

I must say I try all sorts but what works best is high gloss and silk gloss finish paint or laque. The most smooth ones are made with these. The milky effects are varnishes and whitewash and stain. For black I like to use black-tar as underground and also plain latex is nice to work with.
