Hi, Errik wanted me to tell you happy holidays, a good new year, and that he's taken up the violin and has been "using it, with great glee, to exact revenge on the neighbours, until such time as I can get a recognisable tune out of it", so is quite happy. He is pretty awful with the violin still, but is having fun, and has also bought a second hand proper piano and plays that a lot better than he plays the violin. He says sorry he hasn't gotten in contact sooner, but he feels weird about talking random people into typing his personal letters for him.
