Marc is my hero and he has been for over forty years. His most astounding accomplishment: a child (in her twenties!) who is now traveling in the Eastern part of the world. I hope that she would agree with the song, too.g

Love your stuff. I can see your glass influence... both in color and "Puzzle Pieces"

I take issue with your comment about Google. Google will only find one of your socks. g

It's all Google's fault, that's why I always have single socks. SUE THEM

jenevieve,
Please excuse the clumsy way in which I have contacted you, but I got to thinking of your nickname and wondered if you ever have: turned sand into glass.
I am quite serious about trying it, understand the chemistry and am fishing for advice. gregory

Hi Gregory-
I have not yet facilitated that evolution. But simple lightning strikes into sand make some of the most beautiful glass I've ever seen. I would guess that heat more than alchemy creates the pseudo solid state and that chemicals come into play for color, texture etc.
My business name is Sand Evolutions- mostly for the mediums I use but also because I use a grinder so much that I end up with alot of really fine sand-like glass. Full circle.
I would check with the glass blowing folks for how many steps between sand & glass.
Best wishes and let us know if you succeed- Jenevieve

Amy-Sun,
It seems a bit ironic that you would thank me for putting the "Key" and the "Rose" into my favorites. I am new here and maybe I do not get it yet. I thought I was thanking you for creating and sharing. The eyes are beyond description but the rose really captured my heart. g.

Wouldn't it be fun to make Pi a finite number and see what happens?

To alter every bumper sticker on every car in the world such that the new stickers would express the polar opposite of the originals and then go for a drive.
