Yup! Instead it felt much more that Leta was the one hung up on Newt tbh...but nope. Newt just refuses to leave to Paris until he sees a postcard from their by Tina. He literally calls her beautiful to a stranger. Newt is head over feet and it is amazing. AND SALAMANDERS EYES!
Okay, can we all take note that not only did she FINISH the sentence, she understood it and smiled about it? I personally thought they might kiss too...but she was smiling about it at the very least. These two were MADE for one another, honestly.

I mean??? You can SEE her basically shut down around him when Tina thinks he’s getting married to Leta to the stiffness she has and even “Mr. Scamander,” And he’s trying to explain every chance he gets but Newt’s too shy and awkward to do it quickly! XD
and I LOVE Jacob being the not-at-all-subtle-wingman. “Tina’s up here all alone, maybe your should come up here and keep her company, I’m gonna head upstairs,”

I KNOW! These two saps give me so many feelings. And her voice break when she tells him she's happy for him.
JACOB. DESERVED. BETTER. I loved Queenie in the first movie but her plot made my stomach turn, especially the beginning when she has him under the enchantment...yuck. But he is still so cute trying to be a bro and help Newt out XD.

Defiantly! I can understand it, but it does not make up for the fact she took away his ability to consent to anything. Still a very selfish and even bratty thing to do, particularly when she blames him for it. And I can see Grindelwald is a master manipulator, but still. Not okay. Jacob deserved better, especially with how patient he was with her. Most people would have let her go to Paris without caring. Though I do hope she sees through his tricks as the story moves forward.
Yea. There was no bad or even okay acting in this movie- EVERY actor/actress did AMAZING-but Alison Sudol OUTDID herself. Like, wow girl. Even though I was frustrated with her chooses and attitude...my heart went out to her. She just can't react rationally with all the overs stimulation.
HE IS! Yea. Newt and Tina are strange, wonderfully unique people and being themselves is what draws them to one another in the first place. Thats why Newts strange compliments make her happy, why it is so amazing they understand that strangeness in one another. Ah, they make me so happy. I just wish they could have kissed in the French Ministry, instead of being interrupted by Leta XD.
