thanks bud. I'd say I'm essentially self-taught with books and tutorials and people here on DA. I did take art in high school but that wasn't very instructive.

hey thanks so much i really appreciate you taking a look! I just looked the rest of your gallery and DANG! You got skills man! You are one of the few people who draw in color consistently. And I really like how on some pictures the color is kind of subtle. Very cool.

No problems. Many thanks for the compliment and feedback. I've only really started the obsession with colour pencils this year. I had used pastel pencils before, just hadn't realised colour pencils were so versatile. Most of my work previously is in oil and acrylic!

Haha nice of you to say but only like two people have noticed! But better than none and it still feels nice... I must admit I miss being able to come on DA and have comments and messages and faves and stuff...but I guess things really settle down when you stop submitting and commenting!

ha, i'm just going to respond to all our sporadic messages on this one post! yay!

i'm glad we are on the same ball dropping page (hah!)
ultimately, i plan on opening my own art studio where local artists and art students can use the space for their own work and where i can teach classes in the back. i may even have a gallery in it, who knows! lol so right now i am prolly going to go back and get my teaching credential in art and try getting a job. but i'm also looking into getting scenic art jobs for the stage of the theatre. i mean, i minored in it, i dedicated so much of my time (and to be cliche, blood, sweat and tears as well as sanity and loss of sleep) to it, i might as well use it to my advantage! now, to find non-union work. THAT is the hard part in LA.

congratulations!!!!! i got a 3 on mine lol i half assed quite a bit... oh well still got college credit from it.

yay junior year! it's the most stressful of every stage in school. lol i'm assuming you are an art major? yes? what school and what are your plans? i'm so glad to be temporarily done with school.

ha! well it seemed like a lot of people anyway... lol dude, i know what you mean! it's been forever for me too! and alas, no one noticed! i'm not surprised... i don't really use dA.
