# About me

Hi!

I'm Amy and I live in the Netherlands, just above Amsterdam, which you might know for its coffeeshops and Red Lightdistrict. Don't worry, that's not all there is in Holland. We've also got tulips and mills and clogs. And plenty of other things.

I'm extremely bad at drawing, painting and any kind of art that you need your hands for. But I love to take photos and I also like to write stories and poems.

I bought myself a DSLR in September, and I'm still experimenting and figuring out what I really can do with it. I mostly photograph still lives, flowers, landscapes. I love portraits too but it's quite hard to find a good model and I'm not very good at communicating and getting across what I want, so flowers are a very good substitute. I love baking, so there will probably be some more food photography in the near future.
