I'm a proud member of the Metalfigt Beyblade fandom, and am eternally grateful for all of the joy the show and fandom has brought me through the years. Growing up, Beyblade was the glue that held my best friends and I together. After losing contact with those friends, the online fandom of Metalfight Beyblade was what helped me out of my sadness. Lovely art style, also I've pried a little and Sahara really caught my attention, what compelled Kyoya to take their friendship that step further. I absolutely love OC's and character creation and would love to know what drew them to that next stage.
Totally cool if you're not keen to reveal the specifics or have plans for a comic or something in which it's revealed, she just really caught my eye.

first things first allow me to say that this comment was an amazing thing to wake up to and I always love when people actually put time into writing these comments and looking at my characters. Thank you so so so much for this comment and your interest in my little Sahara ;--;
Now, onto your question, haha
The thing about Sahara and Kyoya's relationship is they've known each other for a very long time as I'm sure you've figured out. Ever since they were children, Kyoya's always had a bit of a crush on Sahara. It started as a more innocent puppy-love, and as they grew up it became more real love and attraction, however, Sahara never really returned his feelings. She of course cared about him very much, but it was as her best friend. Later in their relationship, they had a.... let's just call it a falling out, and they were separated for a while. After this, Kyoya thought he'd never see Sahara again. But she did return, and as their friendship started repairing itself, Sahara found herself falling for Kyoya. They'd both grown up, hell, they were practically adults. Sahara tried to deny her feelings for Kyoya, writing them off as platonic. After a while of hiding it, Sahara finally got frustrated enough with her feelings to confess to him. I actually have the dialogue of that confession in the description of the last drawing I did of them <3
After that confession was when their relationship moved to the next level, haha

Oh gosh no need to thank me for that, I'm always drawn to fan OC's when someone takes the time and effort to portray them accurately and to not distort the canon to fit what they want to do with their characters. Thank you for taking the time to explain the inner mechanics of their connection.
