Thank you for the very kind comment! Digital painting definitely has a learning curve but over time I've started to really like it. You should definitely give it a try and play around with it a bit if you're interested in it.
It can get overwhelming with the amount of available tools for sure though. So I would start simple, maybe just a soft round brush and maybe only using black/white/grey. Then as you get more comfortable you can add color and more tools/techniques over time. That's just one approach anyways.
