Check out Southwest Art Magazine October 2012 issue. I am featured in their first drawing portfolio. Mid October one of my pieces will be published in Strokes of Genius 4. It's crazy exciting!I'm currently illustrating for an upcoming novel. The newer surrealistic pieces are the result of said novel, including this piece called The Woman and The Rake.
Pretty much am a self taught artist. LOVE to draw, and still learning the ropes on how to paint in oil and acrylic. Figures and portraits are my arsenals-- would love to do a variety of works until one hits me on the head and tells me strongly that IT'S the one style I should go for. Meanwhile, experimentation is my thing...

i dont know yet.. still on the island.. so maybe something from here since i will be an island girl very soon.. hehe.. i'll figure something out soon i guess..
how's everything there? when are you coming back for a visit? if you come back next year then maybe everyone can come visit me here while i'm doing my diving course.. i want to get my master instructor's license by 2012.. maybe even take up under water photography after that..

Hey John Paul,
I've been having a hard time getting on to DA, so I haven't noticed your note here! Sorry about that! Anyway, the event went well. There were exciting activities surrounding the area, but since this was the first time they've had this particular event, there weren't as many people as they had expected. Regardless, I am proud to have been there and showing both our artworks. I will email you some photos from this event when I get the chance. I will also pack up your painting this week and send it to you after the holidays, if that's okay with you.
The Missing Task Force was very keen on the Guardian Angels Project and the coordinator would like to keep in touch so we could be a part of their event next year.

I've packed your painting but will be including 2 CDs with photos of the events for you. I figure that's the best way to give better quality photo than through email.
I am currently writing a bit about my experience doing the project, but am afraid it's too long and winding. The writing is just for me personally- so I can remember this experience.
Next year sounds good! Let's do it!
