True, no Spanish speakers here! I just like the sound. So I listen to music and watch movies without translation. It helps, I mostly understand what they say!

I used to like to listen to La oreja de Van Gogh, Belinda... It's because they are different from common sweet singers! But for the sake of learning the language, I like to listen to all the music!

Although Portuguese is very similar to Spanish.

Oh, yeas! For sure! The TV series Rebelde Way and Floricienta just blowed up teen audience couple of years ago. They were really popular! Then... Muñeca Brava, Sos mi vida and millions of those which were less popular or I haven't watched at least one series1 Now, many Ukrainian girls watch or have watched Casi Angeles, Alma Pirata, Jake and Blake, Atraccion X 4, and many others through the Internet!
