Hey deviant's I'm Dan, I am originally from england (go figure) but live in Australia.
I like Heavy Metal, 40k, Hellsing and Marvel. These will be subjects for my art.
I am mainly a pencil artist, but I am fairly adept at painting my 40k so I will post photos of those up too.
I also enjoy expressing myself through prose.
I am looking to improve my drawing skills and share my art with the world. So anyone with criticisms or tutorials are most welcome.

thanks alot. yeah i tried to use some harad for a tallarn conversion, but apparently games workshop have a deal with the lord of thre ings cast that they wont let people screw around with their likeness or some rubbish like that

the wide range of regiments, the vast differences in uniform and weaponry. the most diverse and customisable army in the game. what about you?

It's, in the great lines, the same reason: they can look very different, you can build pdf or guards, it's really impressive.
I like those many tanks and armed support too (those of the space marines are damn ugly! o_o),and the fact that they are numerous.
And Commissars...<3 (just for the uniforms ! ^^)

yes the commissars are terrific characters, i love how one has a horse crop, i can picture him whipping guardsman on the head XD

Yay, that's an old one (the better for me). But Crop are really not my stuff, looks great but don't use. I prefer the laspistol,
it's small, elegant, precise. It's inspired by the guns of Han Solo, which are C96 Mausers, which are the coolest guns on teh earth!

Yep, lugers look a bit like the old laspistol (on the mordian officer for example), but there are on short-bareled version,

hey it was my parents decision, i went back home recently, nearly got caught in the massive snow storm. all though my flight was changed since gatwick was literally buried in it.
