.:Character Likeability:.Likeability
• RELATIVE: People are attracted to different characters. Not necessarily as in the “Wow he’s hot” kind of way but they feel drawn to different aspects of a character for personal reasons. It’s all relative. Unfortunately there is very rarely a character that everybody, including nonconformists like me, seem to love. So in this guide I’m going to address the main aspects of a character to add likeability too.
• REALISM: Generally speaking, people like realistic things. Even in a fantasy world. To appeal to these people, make sure you have your characters acting and reacting the way that actual people would in their lives. Don't have them do anything unnatural. God forbid do not write the characters so inconsistently that they appear out of character for parts of the story as well. This is kind of a general unspoken rule of writing, but yes, people know the way people are expected to act and react and if your character doesn't follow

.:Creating Superheroes:.~Your Hero~
• PERSONALITY: Your hero should first and foremost be likeable. He shouldn’t be a static character but instead should have personal dynamics that change and grow over time. Show his maturity. Show him shedding flaws or changing or adapting to them. Show his improvement, a shift in dedication, or social behavior. His character development should not be just as simple as building a skill but should be much more than that. Maybe he’s still developing personal morals and opinions and views. Maybe he needs to get stronger. But don’t take his character development to an unreasonable and unrealistic extreme.
• TRAITS: I more than encourage you coming up with a hero personality that fits your character and you can write well, but if you need some kind of list to inspire you for any reason I will now rattle off as many superhero personality traits as I can. Dedicated, loyalty, moral, honest, humble, brave, optimistic, kind, selfless, appreciative, willi and i hope it has helped you in some way. .:Finding Your Art Style:.YOUR Style
• Figure out how you draw first. By this I mean, pay detailed attention to what things you gravitate to when drawing. Like, do you have a tendency to draw very detailed eyes? Do you like to draw round small bodies? That kind of stuff. Keep track of what you are good at and what you need to work on. Your strengths and weaknesses as an artist are what you need to be aware of because they are things that only you will truly know unless you tell the world. For example if you draw very detailed heads but struggle with the rest of the body, maybe a type of cartoon style is best for you and not anime.
• What’s your preferred subject? Are you into realism? Caricatures? Comics? Animals? Anime? Cartoon? Paintings? Know where your passion is. Maybe you don't make a lot of your own characters and prefer to draw fanart, but you find the show style difficult. Keep trying. Maybe tweak the style a bit to suit your strengths as an artist but still keep the character recogni
