We're a cosplay group from New Zealand

We mostly just want to have fun cosplaying. If you like any of our photos, show your support by faving or commenting! We'd really appreciate it :)
A little about us:
▲ In Cambio we're mostly interested in character portrayal rather than costume creation so while we do make our own costumes we'll also commission them if it's more cost efficient/practical to do so. A good cosplayer is a cosplayer who has fun doing it!
▲ We're dedicated to the "art" and theatrics of cosplay, this means that we look to bring our favourite characters to life through good make-up, photography and atmospheric post-processing. We will never use photoshop unethically.
▲ We also try to capture photographs with a solid concept behind them to portray the characters as well as possible.

Introduction
Themes are a good way for others to explore all the different kinds of art there are about it. Maybe some are unique, maybe some are not so unique, but exploring them all is a lot of fun. Each week a new theme is explored as it uncovers all different kinds of art from different kinds of deviants.
[I'm horrible at keeping a scheduled anything, so I guess this will be updated from 4 days up to 7 days. It'll never be over a week though before I update.]

You and your friend's cosplays are amazing! Also double win you guys being in/from NZ- as much as I'd like to I lack the skills and friends to go cosplaying, and aside from Armageddon there's not really any events for it :/

As for having friends... cosplaying is actually a great way to make them. All the members of this cosplay group (save one) I met through cosplay. Going around dressed as a character is actually a great advertisement of your interests and will attract other people interested in the same general fandom as you. It really is great fun, I'd encourage you to try it! I know NZ doesn't really have many cosplay events but we do have the forums/facebook and even a deviantart page if you want to search around for some cosplayers in your region ^^

No problem! Cosplay really doesn't have to be an expensive hobby or one that requires a lot of sewing skills, there's quite a few tutorials online for cheap DIY cosplays (no sewing machine needed
