heh I was blocked by JElwood so I couldn't reply to you at her ID page. Well in reality, there are a lot of starving artists who work really, really hard to finish commission arts and get paid little. But Elwood, she looks like she lives a really good life with her commissions.

It's not really a good idea to pay the whole sum of money up front. An artist can just take it all and scram. Unless it's a trusted artist, like your BFF....

It's complicated. I told Martha she has one month before I demand a refund and she messaged me back right away and told me she forgot. So... I spoke to her for several days in a row. I'm now ready to give her instructions on the commission and then we'll see what happens. Fingers crossed, right?
