Dug, STEAMPUNK ABE LINCOLN thanks you for the fave and encourages you to do some steampunk photography this year.
Duluth is cold too. I wish you the best this winter. Brrrr... I have a good friend who lives in Hurley Wis., just a couple hours from you.

That Steampunk Abe Lincoln Costume rules! I doubt I will be doing any steampunk photos however.
Duluth is a "cool" city as they say. I love it though. I am not a fan of the big heat. I like our extreme winters here. Makes the Disc Golf season change all year round.

Hey, a long time ago we were talking about disc golf on deviantart. I was asking you also about your polar panoramas. You said you might be doing a tutorial for your method (which is obviously better than most). Did you ever post a tutorial. I am interested in learning
Thanks, jason

Yeah. Sorry. I never did get around to the tutorial. I hardly get to work on the Polar P's these days. Sometimes life takes a turn and you have no choice but to stick with it. Unfortunately a lot of artsy stuff hasn't been down this path.
Thanks for the compliment on my technique. I am quite proud of the effort and product that comes from my process. I see more and more people creating them with equal quality these days but have yet to see a tutorial on how they go about it.
I wonder if I could explain it in just words and send that to you in a message. I will put some thought to it.

Life has been pretty busy. That and I haven't done much for photos lately. I got what would have been a super sweet Polar Pano 2 weeks ago, but I messed when shooting it. So I have to go back up the shore to get it. Done up near Split Rock. Hoping to make it there this coming weekend.
Thanks for noticing.

I am. Whenever I can. I even got to Co-Design a course and build it. Now we have courses popping up around here all the time!
What about you?

When I look at the "New Courses" in the disc golf magazine it seems Minnesota takes up the majority of the page Good job. Which one is your's?
I'm still playing 3 times a week. I was given the task of designing the Augusta Top Gun tournament logo, that came out well and we are raising funds for that local B tier event. Do you have a PDGA player number? Mine's #32804 btw.

I worked on the Miller Creek Course here in town. Its a great course, and fun too. I will have to point you to some pictures later. Right now I don't have much time before I get out the door for work.
I don't have a PDGA #. I don't play enough tournaments to justify it right now. I would like to, but life has no room or funds for it at this time.
Nice work on the logo! Looks great.

Minnesota! While growing-up in Minneapolis, I would think, "wow, this is cold!"
Then I went up to Duluth, and thought, "WOW! That is cold!" And, GREAT, of course!
I believe I remember seeing some type of military-type treaded snow plow working in the streets (impressive!). The wind coming off of the lake front can be incredible.
Thank You for the congrats!
All my BEST!

It was my pleasure. My fiance and I have both received DD's for pictures of and around the lake. It's our favorite place.
What we love to find is other Duluthians and Minnesotans. We especially love to find them on the DD page!
Congrats to you good sir, and thanks for the watch and such. Funny that you+fav'd things out of my scrap gallery.
Consider the watch returned good sir. And congrats to you once again.

Thanks, but lets not turn away from the fact that you are the most recent recipient, hence why we are talking!
You keep up the good work. I would have to drive far to burn you city down for lack of contribution.
