I was already thinking of the Sakura at the time I saw your piece, and I thought it was cool how you drew it next to a river, both of them represent ephemerality and that was kind of poetic tbh, you deserve all the favourites!

As for pencils, get yourself some Polychromos if you can; those last for years. And if not, no worries there, lots of skilled artists who work with limited pallets. Come to think of it, we even had a contest with a bare bones chromatic theme.
Can't vouch for every picture, but the door is always open.

Polychromos are too expensive for my poor moneybox lol, but it's fine, I think I can do it with my school pencils, since the problem isn't that they don't last long, it's because my classmates are always stealing them XD

Come to think of it, at least in Europe Faber Castell are the by far most common pencils in school. So the quality is pretty high as it is.

I used to have Faber-Castell, but now I'm using Bic Evolution pencils, they paint pretty nice tbh (both of them are also popular here in Argentina because of their price XD)

Haven't tried those myself. Bic isn't a particularly big brand in Sweden - actually not even sure if their pencils are available here, or just the ballpoint pens.

Haha, because of the sudden quarantine I've been unable to buy any kind of new pencils, plus I had a surgery on my toe so I won't be able to walk too much even when this is over, yeah it sucks.
