Well... im engaged now, but that is about it. still in school, blah; still working on books (got Yue done for now) but basically... yeah nothing really new.

Woah!! Congratulations! That is definitely big news. And I think it's great you're still writing. I've started practicing drawing again...nothing I've put on here though, they're all sketches. Haha but one of my bosses at work saw and told me to go do art so I never had to work in an office once I finish school.

And sure! I mean haha we've been friends on here for a long time. Search Ally Seibert...I guess it would be under the Miami University network.

What kind of office work do you do?

I work in an office to, and i utterly despise it. I mean, the people, for the most part, i like, but the environment, and what i do, i just cant see myself being that behind the scenes, you know? So hopefully my book will take off and then woosh, i'll be stephenie meyer famous haha. a man can dream cant he? And my boss tells me (since i am a student assistant) " you should take the test and try to become permanant here" and i tell her, flat out, this is just to get me through school;

I have a feeling another book I am working on (Arctic) will be the one to make me famous. But it is so time consuming because i made it so deep. I cant get in the mood; i fall in and out. I have already about as much as the Yue book I came out with (which should be availible through Amazon in about... a month, i am currently editing it so it is off the market); and i have only completed about a third of the other book, so it will be chunkier.

Anywho! I am ranting now and, blarg, anywho, i'll stop now.

i can only write long messages like these at night time when i am not being rushed by homework etc

And finally, i added you on FaceBook, i dont come back to dA much anymore except to comission for my covers; i wish i still did all of that poetry stuff...maybe i'll inspire myself or find a way to be inspired and create and post something

I actually work for Meet the Press, the Sunday news show. I'm an intern there. It's a pretty fun job, everyone is super nice and I like it. I mean I definitely don't want to stay there forever, but for an internship that is that prestigious, it's awesome.

Also, I will look for your name on the best sellers list soon haha. You've been writing for so long, it's amazing and I admire your persistence and practice. How long do you work on certain projects? I guess I just get bored with whatever I'm doing sometimes and stop, you know?

And yay we're finally friends! Yeah I realized we never actually knew each others real names or knew what the other looked like....so SURPRISE! hahaha

My major is currently Journalism and Mass com with a video production focus. I realized though that I probably don't want to stay with politics or news dealing with politics. I'm currently living in DC for the semester, which is awesome....but I can see myself more in NYC maybe or I'd love to visit Hollywood. I like the creative outlets more so we'll see where everything goes.

Nothing super big has changed for me otherwise....still going through school living life. Honestly I really can't complain right now. Which is good

That job sounds pretty cool. Hanging out with a whole bunch of different politicians and stuff! Pretty awesome. I would trade that in for what i have right now haha.

I hope to be on that best sellers list next year. I think it only requires a little more persistence. Pretty soon, i hope to make my books availible direct via amazon and maybe some online bookstores. Once that first step is taken, its only a matter of establishing a fan base. Dont you like how I say it like it's so simple? But truth be told, i believe my work is better than a lot of other authors. I think it is just, right place, right time. So i will keep my hopes high.

In regards to writing, i work on a lot of things at once. In fact, this series, Yue (as a collection) is going to be 8 books, of which I have written 4 and am working on the 5th. But i have other stand alone works which i think are amazing. Two are not completed yet, one is, it's called Silpheed. Hopefully i will go into some sort of production on it... this month. I dont know what kinds of things you like. I write mostly fantasy, but i believe that a science fiction piece that I am working on will be the one to push me to the top. It is sometimes so difficult to be motivated to write. Because i have already about 60 pages... but, i know if i rush myself it will be terrible.

Video production focus you say... lol. I always wanted to do that, to make mybooks movies, but bleh. I chose a different path.I'm not a huge fan of politics aside from what comes from the Daily show and the Colbert Report haha, love those. So what kind of journalism do you want to go into then (if there are kinds?) I dont really know much

I'm almost done with school and loving it. I was thinking about going for a Ph.D. but i dont think i will, its a lot of work and I like to just take things chill. Maybe what I need is to be done so i can work on other projects.

Once I'm super famous, I'll call you up for an excluisive interview so we can skyrocket eachother

So you said you're living in DC; what is that like? Are there really a lot of people wearing suits like in the movies? One day I hope to go over there (since Im in CA), when i get money to see the white house and statue of liberty etc. Are those type of things a big deal when you live over there?

Hey sorry for the delay in response.

I think it's great that you're working so hard on your books and writing. Hopefully things will fall into place for you...I think a lot of it is luck and timing honestly.

I'm actually only going to be in DC for another week. It's really sad to be leaving, but I am ready for a break. I've gotten to experience a lot of really cool things and I've made a lot of friends. I'm not sure where I'll end up in the future exactly, but I'm hoping for a city. I'm not sure if Journalism is the path I'll take, but its useful and will probably help somewhere along the line.

A Ph.D would be a TON of work...it really depends on if you want to teach eventually or not. It's also a lot of money, but maybe something to consider in the future as well.

And as far as life in D.C. goes...it kind of is like the movies. Everyone wears suits and a lot of black. It's definitely worth visiting, but D.C. is very different from other cities like NYC for example.

A super late response by me, but I hadnt forgotten; just been busy as a bee lol

I agree that a lot about book writing is luck and timing, also connections. I've seen some real trash fall into the marketplace and I think they must be related to someone famous or maybe I just can't see the merit. Who knows?
Well, i Know i will wind up going for my ph.d eventually, but i feel that my writing would really take a backdoor to that... and there is still a lot i want to do before that time comes... but it's all about timing right?

Nothing new or fun for me for the holidays, my family's going away for the most part, just work for me, but i may be moving into another job regarding U.S. and Mexico border relations which would help me use my Spanish more. But as far as these holidays, they just feel like another day, you know?

What about you, any holiday plans or big life changes?

no problemo; this may sound a little strange sounding but as a writer i create characters in my head but i cant draw well so i search around for pics to match the people i created

hey! it has been a long time, ive been good but busy, college is taking up a lot of my life so i dont have as much time to write anymore. i guess im taking a break from it, jsut letting the ideas kinda sit in my head, maybe something truely brilliant will come from the wait.
