That seems like a lifetime ago! It was the first opportunity I ever had to share these strange stories that I felt compelled to write with the world. It was such a great thing to actually be able to have people comment on my stories, and to discover that other people enjoyed them!
Of course, dA takes that experience to a whole new level. I haven't been back there in a while. I should probably go have a look.

It still has a lot of good stories but the site is not updated nearly as often as it used to be. There could be weeks without a new story added. i just looked and saw that the newest story was added on December 15, 2017. I think the issue is more that the webmaster doesn't give the site the time it needs rather than a lack of stories. That's too bad because BDSMLibrary is suffering from the same lack of updating with its last stories uploaded in October. dA is good except for the archaic TOS which forces some writers to censor themselves.

Oh yes, I know all about self-censoring. I mean, I am terrible at it, but I really do know that it is a thing that you can do!
I will always be baffled by the first thing I ever posted here that was deleted (and me suspended for a month with it). I mean, I have posted some truly wicked things here and elsewhere on the web. The treatment of the main characters of Erica's Capture and The Mayor's Daughter is some really rough stuff. When I first started posting them, I thought for sure that they would get reported and taken down at some point.
But it wasn't one of them that got me. It was the final chapter of the Hotel Robbery. Now, to be fair, that story starts out only a little less rough than the two I mentioned. It has some rough bondage and mild torment for the main character. But then the last chapter is entirely different and was, without question, the mildest thing that I had ever posted in my gallery.
It was just so strange that it would be the one that got me in trouble. And, stranger still to think that someone actually got past the mature warning and then read far enough to get to the part that violated the TOS, and THEN reported it as a violation. I won't pretend to understand it, but I guess it's just how things work here!

There is a Purity League of Social Justice Warriors as well as reporting groups here that actually look for content that they believe violates the TOS and then they report it for the purpose of getting content deleted and people suspended or banned. They've been very active since last November and several people I watch have paid the price for their actions. It's obnoxious. I've blocked more than 200 of these whining losers so they cannot see my gallery.

Yeah, I've seen a lot about that as well. But it's not entirely new. The suspension I was talking about happened back in 2009 or 2010, I think!
