my style is very "pop-art" and dont photoshop..but id like to learn the techniques.

Yeah I want to get into more colored stencils and not just the backgrounds so they pop even more.

Photoshop definitely helps when you want to clean up images. But it makes the process boring for me, I just wanna get cutting!

no problem..you deserve it.

and i got you..but it gets hectic when theres toooo much colors going on..aligning can be a pain.

and i bet..i never figured it out how to do it so i dont bother because ive tried..i just get the image and work it down to making it as detailed as i want it without using more then 3-4 layers.

Yeah I agree, even with i keep it to black, white and gray with so many grays it gets to be a pain.

I have been wanting to move up to 5-6 layers but its tough as you say, aligning and planning out makes my brain hurt.

i just look at a colorful image from the ground up for a 5-6 layered stencil..start from the back and move towards the front..and there is a technique i use to lessen the risk of misaligning..hard to explain..id have to show.

Yeah that is what I usually do, do the ligher colors last, darker or more present colors first.

But sometimes it still seems to get out of control with so many shades all over the place.
