Hi! I posted on one of your artworks, and before unleashing a wave of comments on other artworks, I just wanted to say that I adore your style, and it seems your spiritual mindset and likes in term of fantasy/horror genre are quite similar to mine. I found you a long time ago, through your work on the fungus characters - I loved them, but at the time I wasn't active here. Now that I found you back, I fully intent on commenting and faving a lot of your pieces and explore your universe.

Hey Flatwoods, it's me Alphaghoul, I have a different Deviantart account name than what I use for commenting on webcomics.
Anyway I noticed some of your characters are genderneutral which brings me to something you might be interested in: there's a fictional alien race called pogs which don't have any biological gender, but use male pronouns, note this comic was made in the 80s and 90s which I think was before the gender identity movement thing (or whatever sounds unoffensive) which is ironic because the comic is set in the distant future. I assume that the in universe explanation for this is that when the pogs and humans encountered eachother the humans who decided that the pogs sounded like and resembled males started using male pronouns in their language while the pogs whose society developed (assumedly for the most part) without any gender identity in their society due to not having a biological gender decided that this wasn't an issue and just rolled with it.
So the Buck Godot comic is only available on the wayback machine (it's easier if you just google "wayback machine Buck Godot" and click on the reddit link) Also the Pogs only appear in the Gallimaufry part of the comic which takes up most of the, well, comic. Plus they look like cartoon turtles without the shells, notsomuch the kinda creepy stuff you usually draw. 
Lastly I'd personally like to see your take on a pog OC with updated modern gender identity concepts, or anyone for that matter, but mostly you. I know I should just commision it from you but I figure it wouldn't hurt to just put it out there.
