I'm very impressed. I'm surprised that you're not found on marvel's or DC comic's talented employee listing... Where do you work?

Thanks probably the best thing anyone has said to me in ages, thank you. I am currently looking for work. This gives me every spare second to practice art and how to create comics, theres a lot more to it than i first thought. Anyway thank you again

You know, I have some friends that made their way by making small comics and pimping themselves to local comic stores. I don't put anything worth stealing up, but have a lot of experience with the art of selling yourself as a brand. I'm pretty sure that unless you're a total flake (90% of artists are... Even Leonardo da Vinci never really finished a piece, and was in hot water with his clients because of it) you'll go VERY far.

Thank your reply, I was wondering if you have any advice on how best to market yourself, my website is nearly set up and I have just finished a small commission piece, but I definitely need to gain more contacts and to find out what people are looking for in a comic book artist, I have a few bits of my own comic designs that I am working on but I'm not gonna put them on deviant art(at least not yet). PS I have just finished a batman picture if you want to take a look.

My best advice is to get an outside point of view from someone who will tell you what they DON'T like in your work, work on being able to make deadlines (alas, this is my curse), and know that you're going to get 90% of doors slammed in your face. You're not selling anything but yourself, and EVERYONE'S a critic, lol. I have been fortunate enough to get interest from a publisher or two, but I know that as of right now I'm not consistent enough for comic work yet... Which kills me. I do well enough with what I do, but the story aspect of a comic is my real love.
