Thank you for sharing your beautiful collection of period costumes and cosplay. It is quite a diverse and attractive selection.
Your DA nickname is quite clever and charming too.

Thank you My website used to also have the same name however a few years back a business started using the term and since then my online profile dropped, a lot so I had to change. It's a pity as I had the domain since 2003 and built up a good level of interaction based on it.
And yes, pretty varied, costume is my art form so I don't limit myself. I love using techniques that were used for each era or style and having to change my mindset for each project :0

Hello! I'm cosplaying as Liara T'soni this Anime North, I'm close to being done my headpiece and I've got a sewing pattern for my jacket set to go. Your cosplay turned out amazing! I was really hoping you could tell me the material you used to make your jacket and where you bought it, it looks perfect! Also if you have any tips I'd appreciate the advice thanks!

Thank you Sadly the fabric I have is no longer available but was a high quality lycra with a thick PVC coating. Very sturdy but a one off as I bought just enough and about a month after doing so some kids decided arson was fun and set fire to the shop. I keep looking out for it. But it's hard to find a source- you can tell by the selvage what quality the base is.
That said I have heard good things about Spandexhouse and I think they have a 4 way stretch matte white PVC. I love MJ Trends for their stretch PVC (You can actually do the splits in their stuff- I used it for my Catwoman and Witchblade costumes as well as Mara Jade (I haven't put her up here yet have I? oops) and the fabric feels thin but is very strong. You may need to adjust a pattern if you have made it for very stretchy fabric. It does stretch more over time as well with body heat. I can't recommend them enough

Luckily in NZ we tend not to get into the epic ridiculous temps... but Auckland is notoriously wet and it is not at the moment.

Hi Glitter!
Just wanted to say it was awesome meeting you in person at CVI in Orlando. Your Shae Visla looked amazing! I was only able to grab one quick picture of you before the battery on my camera died. Finally have been able to upload my CVI pictures this week.
You!

I'm Callipso Liir on the Mando Mercs forums and Nefthys on the Flagship Eclipse forums if you ever want to chat. I would also love to pick your brain about your Asari costume as I am going to be starting one soon.
Cheers,
Nef

Hey you! I saw a piccie of you in the parade at D*C but I never got a chance to stop by the mercs table (until Monday when I did a RL table shift). Pick away I am going to see how many more casts I can get from my molds before there is no detail left- my Liara headpiece is actually a reject as it was too thick to allow a good stretch over the forehead I am debating between making a new mold or sculpting another headpiece entirely
