I'm doing fine!! it's so wild that the last time we actively spoke I was only like, 12 or something hahaha.
I graduated high school last year and this month i finished up my online courses for veterinary assistant related training (still have to do an externship and then final exam though)

...So, it's been almost five whole years since we last spoke...and looking back, I was kind of an *sshole...while I may not have liked the direction some of your stories took, I shouldn't have been so nitpicky and persistent in my critiques, complaints or otherwise; I should've looked before I leapt in regards to the incest story, too.
I'm not sure if you're gonna bother reading this, or if you'll accept it, but, for what it's worth, I'm sorry for the way I acted.

I'm glad you did, though; this was something I kept telling myself to do, but always forgot, so It's good to have gotten this done. I hope things are going well on your end, writing and all.
Being honest, there's something else I was hoping to be able to broach with you, one hopeful writer to another, more experienced one. I just hope it's not too presumptuous, given what's transpired between us. I want to be able to write these fanfics I've got in mind for the elder scrolls series (starting with Skyrim), but I'm having trouble finding good betas to proofread it and such, and I was wondering if you knew anyone who might be willing to help me in that regard. I'd ask you, but I didn't want to come across as being hypocritical or callous, not when I was so persistent about my criticism in the past.

Unfortunately, I'm not doing much writing these days. My "well" has been dry for a while now simply because I've written all the stories I wanted to.
As such, I don't have any easy recommendations for you. Getting a beta is more than just someone who understands grammar and how narrative should flow. They need to share your vision and be able to communicate to you well when they think there may be an issue with the story.
I know there are boards out there with people who are willing to beta, but I've never actually used any of them.
I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. I'm just too far from the pulse nowadays.
I don't think you're being hypocritical or callous for suggesting to ask me. I don't beta very much because I'm extremely busy with work and to be fair, I can be a bit abrasive over time. Which does not make a great beta relationship. ^_^;
In the mean time, my best advice is to just go ahead and write your story. Ultimately the only way to become a better writer is to write. You'll refine your style over time. And there's always the option of doing rewrites. It's not something I have done personally, but I support the philosophy to write anything is better than writing nothing until you have the perfect story.

With luck, I'll have the prologue for my fanfic out this weekend; so many things to edit as I try to make it just right, try to get rid of that feeling of 'I can do better'. Feel free to check it out when it's finally out; it'll be under the title 'Path of the Broken', looking at how my main Dragonborn has affected the lives of those who he's encountered on his personal journey, either directly or indirectly, for better...or for worse.
Honestly, I'm hoping to get out fanfics for each of my elder scrolls protagonists someday; from my freedom-fighter/pirate Nerevarine, my oblivious but ambitious Hero of Kvatch, to my rag-tag, multi-racial team of Vestiges.
