Haaa, it was cause I was feeling this himebanana name was not grown-up enough and those out of the Japanese anime liking group had problems spelling and pronouncing hime XD so I figured ah sure I'll get two words/names that everyone knows how to spell that still looks like my name XDD

Ah wow! I am really looking forward to it! Ooooh, kewl! Most of the kids in my class now are doing Graphic Design so I won't know anyone XD lol. Awww thank you! Actually, XD how come you picked Illustration over Graphic Design? I was weighing up the two options but XD I love comics and Mags and Gwen were so lovely when I interviewed two years ago (they sent me off to AGP to do a portfolio course first and then come back, which was great I've had a fab time) just be interesting on what you thought of one to the other, because people around me keep going 'oh graphic design will get you a job yadda yadda ' >< lol I just think Illustration would suit me more and I'd enjoy it more and it seems harder XD and comics yay but

Yeah a lot of people seem to be choosing graphic design over illustration lately! I chose illustration because there's a lot more freedom in it compared to graphic design; besides, working on a computer 24/7 would have my head melted and I don't think my laptop would be fit enough for completing assignments (yay for a 4 year old Vista model that bluescreened once already)! Another reason was because you actually get to do cartoons and that's my main focus - so, sold!
It is true that you are more likely to get a job with graphic design as it being more digital and futuristic/modern, people want people who know how to Photoshop and use Illustrator. However you do learn both of these applications (and InDesign) in two classes throughout Illustration - you can be just as good as someone who does graphic design if you really focus on the digital art modules. Just work hard!
I do find myself from time to time getting asked to do comic art (actually, this is the most frequent request I get) even though I really don't like doing comic art and have no intent to do it. Though if this is your priority in art, then you've chosen the right course as people DO want comic artists
Oh cool! What year were you in BCFE? Maybe I seen you around a few times?

Yeah, I was kind of thinking the same !!! (I have Windows 7 and the graphic card went already! Replaced but alas!! LOL Bluescreens==scary crying sessions)

Ahhh, I just finished AGP now, so from 2012-2013, and starting Illustration when the school year starts again, please God!
