at least you're working. i've either been sick or busy with the kids or working on school stuff or... the list goes on. but i haven't worked in a couple of weeks. it's sort of debilitating. keep it up!

thanks for the compliments on my work. i love compliments. they make my head swell up. :-) (Smile)

I used to do the whole comic thing, but got out of it in high school b/c my parents were such downers on me about it all being a waste of time. but now i'm the one with a good job and they're working crap jobs. HA! well, no, not 'ha'.

i'm an art teacher now. and i love it. i get to be around kids all day and play and make art here and there, make art at home and not worry about where my next paycheck is coming from. i couldn't try to live off of my art. i would be miserable and dirt poor. i'd be scared to make a piece for fun instead of for profit, you know?

anyways. so what part of the south are you from?

I always get excited when I see all the new traditional prints and ideas people are coming up with. I'm glad to see the art of printmaking flourishing.

Teaching in the South is an excellent way to go. There aren't many jobs outside of that, maybe some graphic design, except in the metro areas. I do some graphic design on the side because so many people need that kind of thing done. Between that and websites, I make money that way. :) (Smile)

I'm from Northeast MS, but I've lived all over Northern Mississippi and Northern Alabama; where ever work takes me. Was close to Memphis, TN until recently. Now, I'm back in Alabama. How do you like it in AR? are you in the Northern or Southern half?
