I locked it up outside my house for three days.. my mistake was in thinking a cable lock would be fine. I got a U-lock with cable for the new bike. No one is ever stealing it. Ever. Evereverever. My bike is that important.

It was a good birthday, too. The night before, I was at a friend's place for a party cause it was her birthday, and there was poi and then another friends' band played at a nearby pub.

This week has been awesome. I met that person that everyone gets to know on the internet, who would be a perfect match if they didn't live 3635462.82 hobillion miles away.. turns out they just live two blocks away!

Well, last year was pretty rough. This year is a little better so far. I've been hesitant to post more photos lately because it seems like no one is looking at them. I have like six rolls of film to scan, too. Two of them are black and white. I'm hoping to start developing b&w on my own soon, since I've got the chemicals and most of the equipment. How's about you?

i know what you mean i haven't really posted much because no one looks at them or comments on them it makes me sad hah. i will get like maybe 10 views or something an so yeah it just makes me not want to even bother. i blame it on DA being so crowded. so many people upload stuff all day that stuff gets lost in the categories really fast. i know they have groups now and you can get more views if you submit them to groups etc. maybe you shoudl try that. i would love to see your new stuff [please let me know when you upload them though since i am horrible at checking my devwatch lately i only read comments]

No worries, I don't think either of us is really investing much time in this site. Do you have some other contact info, maybe Facebook?

I'm starting to think that selling prints locally might be the best idea. There's certainly lots of cafes and restaurants around that will sell people's art for them. I also need to get busy this month with doing more lino art, since the Om festival is coming up and I would really like to have some prints made to trade with my Omies. Not to mention the gift I have yet to make for my sister which I intended to give her for Christmas and then her birthday. I'm bad at giving gifts, more so to people who are far away :/

ugh.. like I want to spend so much time organising seven years of photos into groups. I'm more interested in making some money from my photos, but doing that here is kind of a waste of time too. I'd really like to find some sort of dA-like thing where you can actually make some money from selling photos instead of taking a tiny percentage of the money the website makes from something they didn't create.

you can try to sell stock photos maybe? i know there are some sites a few people i know have made money from [i forget them lol but i know they are out there! lol..]

yeah trying to sell art is frustrating as fuck..... yeah DA's print program is fucked up. they don't fucking deserve any of it. its not like they got you the sale or anything anyway. fuckers. heh.

I've been taking lots more pictures and not having the money to develop and post them. I moved out of my parents' house finally, and I'm struggling to make ends meet so far, but hopefully this job I'm going to try to get today will come through and I won't have to worry about that anymore.
