About ten years now actually for portraiture but you don't need to take such a long time to be good haha I just wished someone told me a few things when I started out so I don't need to fumble around in trial/error as to what works which brings me back to yes I'm self taught and most of the time HB and 2B mechanical pencils because I'm too lazy to sharpen my pencils when needed > < But Staedtler is a really good brand of pencils to invest in which I use for darker tones

Yeah just keep the eyes right and work on proportion (youtube and deviantart has a lot of tutorials on that) and you will be fine

Thank you! I started out drawing portraiture before everything else so the shortest answer is a lot of practice. That and the trick to a good portrait lies in the eyes. If you can capture the eyes of your subject I'll say your portrait is pretty much 50% done. I'm happy to answer more questions I just wasn't sure if you would like an essay or a short reply haha XD

Well, if we go by the media and journalism around the globe, it was reported that he had signed up till 4, also mentioned by him in one of the interviews. But then again Robert Downey Jr too had ended his contract long before Age of Ultron, so yeah, you're probably correct. Flexible contracts.
