there is a certain roughness to your work that is very appealing - from a distance it seems very crude, but when taking a closer look, it really does your subjects justice - a lot of your pieces look like definitive studies, but eventually function as proper works in their own right - smells like talent!

thanks! for a very nice compliment :-) (Smile) i like it when things come with a raw edge to them, whether it's about art, music or people...
in the end it's always this delicate balance between 'unfinished' and 'too polished'; most of the time i try to go for the point in between where there's still some sort of naked roughness & a little room for interpretation... sometimes i work months on that crude sketchy feel LOL
