As for some advice, I can offer up the advice that was always given to me; it's not groundbreaking stuff, and you may have heard it all before, but it's the honest truth.
The best wisdom I can provide, is that you always remember to seek better work from yourself, but don't let that eclipse the progress you're showing each day. What I mean is, don't put yourself down or look poorly upon your older work. It's all important. Definitely keep that ambition to continue learning and improving where you see fit, but you have to recall the roads you took to get to where you are, and appreciate them. Beside that, always strive to evolve your work and don't get caught up in that myth of "your style". Your artwork can portray many different artistic approaches and styles, and yet will always be your's. You just have to establish which techniques you prefer and which you don't. Don't fall into the tunnel vision of making your work uniform, or worse yet, static. Find your comfort zones, but then work outside of them - stepping outside your comfort zones will open you up to more dynamic work and techniques and, ultimately, help you to expand your work by adding in those new skills. Pursue criticisms only when you feel ready. They are very valuable, but if somebody isn't quite ready to receive them, they can be damaging; even the most constructive of which. You have to feel ready to share, and ready to receive that kind of honesty. Constructive criticism is VERY helpful, but only primarily when given in seriousness, ok? So don't let the crass words of a person just looking to rough up the waters poison your ambitions. Β
Definitely appreciate your talents - they are beautiful! But never really settle for where you are. Learn the foundational lessons you aren't totally interested in, because creating that knowledge base is going to be invaluable when it comes time to build something from the ground-up, like a fictional anatomical structure or architecture. You should know the reality of how things work, and build your alternate atop that base; it keeps your physics sound. You will thank yourself in the future. C :

Thank you! I didn't expect the long and carefully written response(not saying that's a bad thing). But yeah, expanding what i draw is something i don't really do much because i'm kinda stuck in what you would call a "comfort zone" with drawing mostly things in a cartoon style because that's just what I've always been good at! But that doesn't mean I've never gone and tried to draw more realistic works of art; in art class i was assigned to draw myself, and i'll have to find it then send it to you, but the result wasn't necessarily "bad", it was just cartoony! So i have tried to go and try other avenues of art, but never really got as far as i did with my cartoon style work. Which that doesn't mean i'll never reach that goal, it just means i'm going to have to experiment a little.Β
Sorry, got on a tangent. Anyway, i appreciate the words of encouragement and will try my best to open up to other perspectives of art(because me and you both know that art isn't black and white!) By the way, keep up the good stuff
