Eh...I am a member of a bunch of groups.  I rarely submit my works to groups unless someone asks permission or it is one of the groups that I admin for.  As far as what you see...just turn the groups deviations off if they post poor work or in many cases too much work to your profile on a daily basis.

It's def not any of the groups that you admin for, those are quality groups.  I guess the problem I have with a few of them is that some of the work posted is just as you have stated, too many daily posts to keep up with and a couple that are too inactive. I love to see how others feel about my photos so it is fun to post, especially if I can get quality feedback.  I'm  a self-taught photographer so I can use all the help I can get...

You don't have to be nice.    The Experimental Photographers group I am in because a friend runs it.  The Oregon group I ended up moderating for because the founder was not logging in for extended periods.  Folks began to wonder if the group existed for a while.  Thanks to me there are photos being accepted into the group again.  Don't get me started on Ivan & the West Coast group.  Yes, good photos.  There are some photographers who start groups to invite as many possible to get their own work seen by masses of people.  I think you catch my meaning. 

I will do my best to give you some feedback when your photos pass through my feed.  I am self-taught as well.  And really...you don't look like you need much help at all.      Feel free to submit whatever you like to the Oregon group.  I will see that it makes it's way into the gallery.

I will hide this for sure.  Thank you for being so frank with me, I appreciate it very much along with your support!   I guess I can also mention that a couple groups have let my submissions expire or have declined them while accepting work that is ridiculously sub-standard ( crooked horizons, complete lack of focus, saturation to the max, etc). I don't mind someone not liking my stuff since this can be very subjective, but I do mind the cliques and unfair favoritism that sometimes exists in these groups. I can't believe you are self-taught....your work is amazing!
