Thank you very much for taking the time to look through my gallery and for your considered and constructive comments. I'm a bit of an odd case I guess as I prefer people say why they like or dislike something other than just stating it's good or bad. Your comments were thoughtful and for that I'm truly grateful. Thank you also for the watch. I hope I can do something soon to provoke a reaction from you. Maybe good, maybe not.

Ah well I always believe in constructive (and not bitchy) criticism. Thanks to you also for taking a look at my stuff.

Thank you very much! Your deviantID reminds me of the character of Delerium from Neil Gaiman's comics.

The different coloured hair, mainly! I can't find a decent example on google now. Typical!

You should. Neil Gaiman is one of the best writers around - comic or prose - in my opinion!

Interested, for sure. Capable, I'm not so sure. I've never done any proper portraiture but it's something I'm very willing to look into.

This is true! I'm limited to shooting outdoors though, with my lack of proper lighting equipment though. Would that be a problem?

CrazyShiningDiamond In reply to mojographics [2011-02-17 12:25:29 +0000 UTC]
No with outdoor shoots I tend to use natural lighting anyway

haha cool because, aside from a few reflectors, I've no choice. OK then, you're on for some outdoor work in that case! Do you have anywhere in mind you'd like to be shot?

I would always have liked to try a night shoot in grand canal dock, where all those red "matchstick" lights are.

Well it's especially true because it's nice to see Dublin in a different light, especially from the point of view of someone such as myself, who feels pretty drained of creativity thanks to my surroundings!

know of any decent spots in phoenix park for shots? (not too far from heuston like)

mojographics In reply to superflyninja [2009-10-10 14:16:13 +0000 UTC]
Not familiar with that part of the city at all to be honest (especially around Heuston), but I'd imagine you could get something interesting maybe around the Wellington Memorial? My dad got some great early morning shots last winter with a telephoto lens with a beanbag as support, crawling along the ground. It was shortly after sunrise, it was very misty and the frost hadn't melted away, and in the mid-ground you could see the silhouettes of the deer in all their antlered glory.
