I'm a Brooklyn-born girl who's been drawing since I could hold a crayon. In more recent years I've replaced my pencil with a tablet stylus, but I still like to dabble with markers and paper every now and then. I'm an avid gamer, I enjoy paper crafts, and I have a secret passion for abstract, unusual, and old animation. I love animals, especially cats. I hate squids.

Hi, I really hope you get this. I've been drawing and creating my own world for a long time, but I'm pretty new to DeviantArt. It's gonna be a while before I get to uploading anything since I have no reliable source of internet and no scanner. Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I also came up with the term "imagimancer". I was pretty discouraged at first, but then I found that even though we came up with the same name, our ideas for them are different. So no big deal, this is classic rule of numbers stuff. I just thought it'd be good to talk about it and get this off my chest. Also, whenever I get around to posting and you come across something of mine pertaining to imagimancy, you won't think I'm trying to copy you or something.

I'm certainly not the first person to come up with it - there's at least one other person I've seen before who's used the term. Frankly, I don't think it's a big deal. 
I appreciate it, and I would never think you were copying me unless you started using the same 'rules' and guidelines I'd been coming up with in my drawings. You just do your thing, man! No worries.
