Do what you need to do to keep yourself and your family together. That comes first. I'll say some prayers to hopefully nudge the universe along in the right way for you. In taking care of everything else, do not neglect yourself. Again, if you decide to write, I'm no expert, but I consider myself decently competent, so if you have anything you want feedback on, let me know. Currently helping edit Steampunk Harlots, but I can squeeze in more.
In the meantime, I've been actually putting things on my DA site. Go figure.

I am ashamed to say that I haven't worked on anything in a year. School really took up m y time, but also I went completely blank on my writing. It's awful. Lately I've been thinking about our lovely Elunara and her little insane family, so maybe I'll write more on her soon. I hope, just to do SOMETHING. I'm stuck on my novel, because I have an idea of how I want the ending to look, but NO clue how to write it out. Maybe I'll show you what I have so far and you could give me a critique, but I'm so brain blasted at the moment, I don't know when.

It's roughly 18 chapters long at 15 pages each, so about 250-270 pages ish.
I don't know exactly how to describe it. It started off from a dream I had, where I get most of my writing, but here goes.
Lilah, wakes up dead, literally, she is in the part of the underworld known as "the wash" similar to purgatory, she must learn to manipulate the world and escape with the lost soul of her also dead brother. When she returns to the land of the living, she must learn to control this unlocked magic while battling her lack of confidence in herself. She's a bit whiny and is constantly breaking down, but she learns to deal with her emotional issues and becomes stronger.

If you want me to read it, I'd be happy to. Do you want editorial comments as well? I can do Open Office, Word 2010, or Word Perfect. I'm working with another writer, editing with Google Docs, but I find that program very primitive; however, if that was the format you prefer, I would give it go.
