# About me
Writer, with a fascination for heraldry and cartography. Odd that there are no categories for those types of artwork. Can do sketches, but aside from one digital piece, haven't done anything in more than 10 years. Some the heraldry and maps are new, but taken from hand drawn images. As can be seen by what I've uploaded, my artistic skill is pretty unpolished, especially in regards to human figures. But I like a lot of the artists here, and I like to support indie artists working to establish artistic careers.# Comments

I suspect the color is due to the limitations of computer monitors at some point. It's an old PNG I converted to post here.
It is one of the two accepted blazons of Harold Godwinson, who was briefly king of England in 1066.

thank you! that's great! No, this is historical fiction. I have to make up a lot of the characters simply because there is so little written down from 1,000 years ago. But the world is as realistic as I can make it, and the main events and historical personages are as accurate as I can make them.

The two years leading up to it were interesting. A lot of little battles. Some skullduggery. Lots of political maneuvering.
But it's the little people caught up in the great movements that are interesting. And the medieval details of life they experience that I can relate, those are the interesting parts for me as well.
