Everything is so dirty cause I can't photograph well x) Plus I have very little care for larger work right now...so it's all scribbles and doodles. 

Your work is pretty killer yourself! The paintings are soft and wonderful, some of it reminds me a little of dr. Seuss.

Yeah. He was being very rude. I couldn't bring myself to respond to the last message he left for me because he started going on about ranting about my personal life. Plus I can do without being called a "Snowflake". That's the new slander word to throw around that offends everyone, not any particular group (though that doesn't make it any less offensive).

I'm trying to improve not just as an artist but as a person because I do have to completely rebuild myself because of all the shit I've been through. I never meant it like "Oh I have it the worst out of everybody". No. Everyone has their own problems but mine are still valid enough that it effects me in such a way that its become debilitating. But I can atleast say now I trying to get therapy. Start tomorrow actually. :3

As for my art, well, I just gotta keep at it.

I think that there are a lot of people that don't like to face themselves. Like, when we grow up everyone is worried about appearances. How we appear to our neighbors, our classmates, our coworkers. We're constantly trying to pretend to be something, for the sake of others. Nobody ever stops to tell you that you should like yourself. That you should be kind to yourself or enjoy spending time with yourself. There's always some sort of distraction...I don't think shaping myself based on the opinions of others has gotten me very far. Much less by the voices of people that don't know themselves either. 

Taking a step back and saying "this isn't working" is important, that way you can attempt to follow a new path. Honesty can be hard but the payout will be worth it. I believe in you. 

If you're interested in trying a different approach to drawing, drawabox.com is free and very useful. You'll probably spend days drawing lines and ellipses, but it's all for a purpose. Plus there's a good community behind it, if you're about that. It takes the talent out of drawing so everyone is capable of doing it if they put in the work.
