Ever since I was 7 years, I have been equally obsessed with psychology and the written word. I am a poet by hobby, and counselor/public mental health professional by trade. I find the interplay between irrationality and reason intoxicating. Likewise, many of my pieces juxtapose human behavior and nature.

Oh thank you for the compliment. I'm not sure how much I'd fully agree with that. Your work is rather good. A solid use of imagery without being overbearing/cliche. Also a rather nice flow. So, I'd go with "different voice" ;-) (Wink)

I like your style. Your poems are good, some quite so. I read a lot, much of it poetry, though I see potential in very little I read, and even less of what I read is good enough for me to comment on. You, on the other hand, could write great poetry. I hope it's not insulting to say you're not there yet, because I mean it positively. If you continue writing (which I sincerely hope you do), I really think you could create something truly great. And I really, -really- do not think that about many writers.
