Hi there, do you know any good starter cameras for taking professional pictures of products that are going to be listed on a online shop?

There are many and none is the best , there is no such thing as the best camera only what is best for you.
It depends on just how good you want your images to be or how good they need to be, most of the time it will come down to how you shoot the product rather than the camera itself.
Any current model DSLR from any manufacturer will do what you want and give you good quality provided you can drive the camera and every thing else around it.
How you light your product is the single most important factor affecting quality, does not matter what camera you use if you can not light it properly the images will not look good.
A good lighting set up will cost you more than the camera.Β

It is a combination of every thing really, the camera, the lighting and most importantly your skill, it is surprising what can be done with a $200 camera and a couple of $20 lights from the hardware store

Where about in Australia are you?Β Β My mothers side of the family is English where as my fathers side is Australian.Β My parents got divorced when I was 1, my father went back to Australia and haven't met him yet.Β I still have another half of my family being brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles that I have over there.Β Most of them are based in Rockingham which isΒ just a bit south of Perth.Β One of these days I'll pop over there.

I am on the Central Coast NSWΒ around an hour north of Sydney , I am originally from Gippsland Victoria , I have been all over Australia many many times and there is really not much of this country I have not seen , that photo you commented on was taken at Fremantle witch is around and hour from Rockingham , I lived for many years in Perth and it is a beautiful city but very small and quiet
