Art has been my visual journal depicting disparate elements in my life inspired by specific people and places. It helps me explore ideas around flux, migration, urban-life with aesthetic codes as markers of identity and aspirations. I attempt to recreate parts of my personal life by extrapolating bits of architecture and history from my itinerant experience.
I am interested in creating disquieting themes concerning an internal sense of self and decay. In my mind, stories and imageries always contain some sort of calamity. The result is a surreal wasteland, ravishing with pseudoβorganic ornamentation and rotten opulence.
