To help keep dA rid of stolen art, you could go to the page of the stolen deviation and click the Report Deviation button on the right side of the page under the statistics.

Its not stolen. . .The one he Favored was put up on March 30th of 2010.
The "Original" you gave him was posted February 6 2011, how could the Original be posted after the one that was stolen.

It can't be stolen, it was uploaded BEFORE the other image meaning that the image he Favorited is most likely the original.
Just look at the upload dates, the first link you posted was put up in 2010, the second link was put up in 2011

In addition to that, the original also notes that "Well apparently since it was in storage, this deviation lost all the faves it had and the groups it was in." Therefore, the stolen version stole it from the period of time before it was in storage.

No Offense but you've only been here for 3 weeks, both my accounts combined I've been here nearly 8 years I know how these things are ment to work. . .not completely but a basic understanding.
Storage may be new but it is a basic concept.
In other words either BOTH these deviants stole the same piece and we don't know the original artist or the second link is the original.
When put in storage you will not loose

And defiantly NOT The submission date.
The submission date tells you when a deviation was logged onto the site not when it was taken out of storage.
Who ever told you that is a bold faced liar, if you want to test it throw one of your deviations in storage then bring it back out again.

But still the submission dates remain solid as long as the deviation is here storage or not the Submission Date is used as a sure fire way to see who's is the original thats why.

Thats not how storage works I'm sorry to say try it yourself. . .you will retain all favorites, comments and the groups it is in thats why sometimes when you go to groups it says "Deviation in storage"
