Who is your favorite character to cosplay. If I had more time to make the costumes I would love to cosplay Lord of the Rings and Death Note Characters.

Any of them with beards. Dwarves, Gandolf, Gimli etc. My first choice would be Thorin Oakenshield

I like Adam Savage. He is an honest and level headed guy.
We have too many hot heads in this country. The Tested show teaches a lot of great costuming and prop making techniques.
Well worth the look.

Good Stuff. I am working on a few things that should be out soon. But I have been hired to write a law text book. It comes out in September. So that seems like the only thing I am working on.

Yeah, Trying to get an influx of income from some steadier work in a profession to pay for all the expensive side projects awaiting in the background.
When I can finally get going on a couple I know the costs will start flying around.
Like the Vampire/werewolf series graphic novel.
The third book should still be out in October but I have a couple of other things coming along faster that I will surely do first.
I want to be able to properly commission the right people for the right projects.
What are you working on these days?

ryuzo In reply to ragesevenqb [2014-06-30 21:16:16 +0000 UTC]
Cool thanks for the update!
I really admire your drive to launch your novels and appreciate your dedication commissioning your projects. I hope my services can be of assistance when the time comes.
I just finished a 23 page comic about (of all things) vampires! Or a vampire, to be more specific. It will be part of an upcoming horror anthology called Horror of Loon Lake.
I've also contributed to InnovationComic.com 3 times now, with 1 more short on the way!
I'm really interested in rounding out my comics storytelling by drawing all the old classic horror pillars -- Frankenstein, Werewolf, Vampire, Sea Monster/Creature, Mummy, Invisible Man. I think this genre is really cool and has limitless appeal.
Ok, talk soon then!

Congrats. Yeah, I think I am on the same arch as far as my monster books. I am working on a mermaids and sea monsters project but I don't really know what to do with it yet.
I have written a complete history of the worlds, a basis for the various creatures, and why humans are really the weakest link. But, what is the form it will take???
So, a Vampire comic. I would love to read it. If you need a quick editor or set of eyes on it, let me know. I wouldn't be interested in charging for it. I would be happy to help out a fellow struggling artistic type.
I will certainly be working toward projects that can start new commissions pretty soon. So I will let you know about anything you would fit with as soon as I get things moving.

Interesting point on "why humans are the weakest link".
The vampire comic is good to go, thank you for the offer though! If I do have projects that need feedback and are shareable, I will keep you in mind.
And thank you for keeping me in mind for your projects.
If you want to have a conversation about struggling, we can breach that topic. I will say that I am very happy where I am.

That sounds good. I am struggling more because i have too many plans. I am in law school as well so the pressure is just really high. But once it's done, i will be free to pursue many more projects.

Those are well-meaning, admirable plans!! I'm sure it will pay off, it'll be every bit worth the struggle and pressure.
Keep in touch!
